Why You Out Loud?
You Out Loud is a transformative approach to mental wellbeing for youth in Routt County, through public art projects and community integration. We are a new program, specifically set up for high schoolers in Routt County. We understand things are not easy for a lot of people and we wanted to offer an opportunity for new connections in a safe and nonjudgmental setting. Everyone needs to be heard, but not everyone is comfortable sharing their thoughts.
At You Out Loud, thoughts do not need to be verbalized. We embrace self-expression through the arts, in all mediums. Sessions are guided by professionals but led by teens. This is your chance to show others in the community what it’s like being a teenager in today’s world, using art as a bridge.
You say we don’t get you, well here’s a way for you to help us. Be part of something that accepts you for being you.
